Yesterday, I found this adorable picture of my parents at a wedding they attended 22 years ago (cropped, as I don't want my father to disown me). My mom flew into Delhi from Bombay today, and when I showed her the picture, I asked her what the slang back then was for someone smiling ridiculously. She just looked at me, so I taught her the phrase "straight cheesing." Because really, there's no other way to describe what she's doing in this picture:
